What we process and why

Server logs: URL, browser, OS, referrer, IP, timestamp — automatically recorded by our host (Firebase Hosting, Google Cloud, region europe-west3 / Frankfurt) for security and troubleshooting. Deleted after 30 days at the latest. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).

Contact form: Name, company, email, message, timestamp, and your browser's language preference. Delivered by our processor Resend (Resend, Inc., Delaware / USA, EU-US Data Privacy Framework certified) as an email to hallo@8tribute.com. Used solely to handle your enquiry. Deleted once the matter is resolved, latest after 24 months, subject to statutory retention requirements. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent via checkbox) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps on your request).

Cookies: None for tracking or advertising. Only technically-required cookies the host may set for security or load-balancing.

Web analytics (Plausible): We use Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia, EU-hosted in Germany) for privacy-friendly usage statistics. Plausible sets no cookies, stores no personal data (IP addresses are only briefly used to compute an anonymous hash and are not persisted), performs no cross-site tracking or device fingerprinting, and processes only aggregated, non-personal statistics. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in privacy-friendly site analytics). Details: plausible.io/data-policy.

Fonts: We load „Inter" from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.). When the font loads, your IP and browser metadata are visible to Google. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (consistent typography). Details: Google Fonts Privacy.

Hosting: Firebase Hosting + Firebase Cloud Functions, region europe-west3 (Frankfurt). Operated by Google Cloud EMEA Ltd., Dublin, Ireland; Google is EU-US Data Privacy Framework certified.

No further analytics: No Google Analytics, Matomo, Piwik, no Social-Media widgets (Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram).

Your rights

Under GDPR and the Austrian DSG you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21), and not to be subject to automated decisions (Art. 22). To exercise these rights or withdraw your consent, an informal message to hallo@8tribute.com is sufficient.

Complaint

If you believe the processing of your data violates the law, you may file a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: dsb.gv.at.
